My early years growing up on a schooner taught me about depending upon and working with others. Those lessons led me to live in an intentional community in Santa Rosa, California. I am one of its former presidents and keep very busy on many of its committees.
I have worked on many other boards including one to develop affordable housing and one for the oldest bilingual radio station in the country.
Though I have been called a heretic and usually hold a minority opinion, I have never been arrested and am disappointed that I haven’t been able to lead people to agreeing with my solutions to the world’s problems.
Though I have never been hungry and have always had resources, I stand with the masses.
My favorite color is blue – the color of the ocean and the sky that surrounded me when I was young.

I am David Wright’s sister and was on the Wanderbird only once, my brother attended school there. His name is David Wright, a retired fisherman who lives in Bodega Bay.

Thanks for contacting us. I’m sorry for being so slow in responding. Ann died of complications of Parkinson’s Disease two weeks ago, but work on the book will continue. I hope your brother is able to follow the progress!

I am saddened to hear of Ann’s death. I wish I could have heard this earlier, but I am compelled now to say that her work was important and I greatly respect her. She was an outstanding revolutionary that stood for the truth even when the hegemony of the capitalists tried desperately to shut her down. Steeled in the furnace of the Cultural Revolution, her heart was immovable and undefeatable. She walked alongside the masses in their iron soles for the liberation of humanity. She was principled and had a brilliant mind, may she rest in power and peace…
Hope this book is finished in time and her memory enshrined in its pages. Please update us on the progress on the book.
